JAI #57 - Colour Challenge

Howdy, this week at JAI we are hosting possibly the hardest colour challenge ever!!!

I did my usual trick of pulling all my inks out and stacking them up.  Surprisingly they looked good together.  I pulled out a couple of stamp sets that I thought would look good with the colours we had to work with and got to work.  Version 1 got filed in the round file.  Version 2 was put aside - it looked alright but as I was making it I had another 'brilliant' idea.  Unfortunately, Version 3 met the same fate as Version 1, so I present to you Version 2 - the best out of a bad lot!

I've used the L2 Hostess set, Apple Blossoms, which I've had for ages and never used until now.  The 'Hello' sentiment is from Hello Again.  The Cherry Cobbler DSP is from the Regals Assortment.  I thought I'd add a border along the edge using the Scallop Trim Border punch, however when I was putting the card together, I realised that you can't even see it.  The main panel is Textured White cardstock and the ribbon is Daffodil Delight satin.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the Design Team have come up with - great ideas using HARD colours!

Thanks for visiting

LOL, poor Versions 1 and 3, cut off in their prime. I like your Version 2!

Nothing 'bad' about this one!! Know how you feel though when things don't go to plan. This one is, however, a beauty!

I think you've done a great job with these colours Jo, I wouldn't know where to start with them (even if I did have time to try).

Sorry to hear about v1.1 and 1.3 havings bugs...don't you hate it when that happens?!

:o)
